1. What is the Coalition of Maryland Black State Troopers (CBMST)? CBMST is an organization dedicated to advocating for diversity, inclusivity, and equality within the Maryland State Police. We aim to create a more respectful and supportive law enforcement environment for troopers, civilian professional staff, and retirees of all backgrounds.

2. What are the goals of CBMST? Our goals include promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Maryland State Police, addressing issues related to cultural sensitivity, providing resources for professional growth, and building stronger relationships between law enforcement and the community.

3. How does the CBMST relate to the Maryland State Police? CBMST is not directly affiliated with the Maryland State Police. We are an independent advocacy group working towards positive changes within the agency to create a more inclusive and equitable environment.

4. Is CBMST exclusively for Black state troopers? While our name suggests a focus on Black troopers, CBMST welcomes and supports troopers, civilian professional staff, and retirees of all backgrounds who share our mission of promoting diversity and equality within the Maryland State Police.

5. How can I join CBMST? If you are a Maryland State Trooper, Maryland State Police Civilian Professional Staff, or Maryland State Police Retiree who supports our mission, you are welcome to join CBMST.
